Red Wine - Silent Way, Pinot Noir 2024 - Natural Wine

$44.00

Pinot Noir from Quarry Ridge Vineyard in Kilmore, Macedon Ranges and Silvan in the Yarra Valley, Victoria

Matt Harrop and Tamara Grischy produce wine in small quantities, expressing the soils they are grown in and are styles we love to drink. In a Silent Way was recorded by Miles Davis in February 1969. It is regarded as a masterpiece and one of the most inventive recordings of all time.

Winemaker’s Notes: Colour is a youthful deep red with excellent purple hues. 2024 was a long dry growing season, resulting in bright black fruited aromas- plums, berries, a hint of dark chocolate and some spicey complexity- a hallmark of our Pinot Noir.

The palate is immediately powerful, with good intense ripe black fruits, some pomegranate, a touch of cassis and ripe cherry. Tannins are present but fine, adding shape and texture. This is one of the more powerful expressions we have made.

Type: Wine - Red
Notes: You must be over 18 years of age to order and pickup wine. Our licence number is LIQO660036430
Availability: Order & Collect
